A: YES! We will be looking for volunteers to help with welcoming guests, setting up at events as well as being a host for dancers from out of town. Please check the Volunteering page for more details in August 2013.
Q: What are the door prices going to be?
A: Door (covers) prices are listed on the Schedule page . Venue capacities will vary from event to event and door sales may be limited, so arrive early.

Q: How do I get to and from the airport if my host/hostess cannot pick me up?
A: Seattle has a light rail system called LINK. There is one line from SEA/TAC Airport into downtown Seattle. Seattle Metro bus system has lines from the light rail. You can also arrange for rides through Kizomba Seattle Exchange.
Q: What other dance(s) are happening if I’m coming a couple of days early or staying a couple of days past the exchange??
A: Seattle is a fantastic city for social dancing as we have all types of other dancing going on during the weekend. Here are some other dances that are going on the weekend you'll be here:
Nov. 16 Saturday - All Vinyls Salsa (AVS) at the Century Ballroom
Nov. 17 Sunday - Om Fusion

A: Not really, though we wish. We recommend having car or bus arrangements made (Kizomba Seattle community members will be on hand to help with rides), or take advantage of sharing a cheap cab ride.
Q: When will we hear about hosting assignments?
A: Hosts and guests will be assigned during the registration period and notified a couple of weeks prior to the event. Please update your registration with any information you wish acknowledged.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: There will be NO REFUNDS for the weekend pass. Early registration ensures a lower price, but asks that you commit to the purchase. If you cannot attend the event or your plan change, you can transfer your pass to someone else please email [email protected].
Q: Will there be food at late-night, or do I need to go and find something?
A: Yes! We will have light snacks at all dances except for the one at Waid's. There are restaurants within walking distance of the Century Ballroom, Belltown Dance Studio and Salsa n Seattle.
Q: Can I bring water bottles into the dances?
A: Yes! All of the dances, with the exception of the Sunday night dance at the Century Ballroom, allow water bottles. For Sunday night, we suggest the public facilities or visiting the Century Ballroom’s restaurant next door, The Tin Table where you can either purchase a non-alcoholic beverage and bring it into the dance, or enjoy cocktails in the bar area before hitting the floor.
Q: Where can I eat?
A: There are some great places to eat close to the different dance venues.
If you're really up for a culinary adventure, please email us or ask us at the Exchange. We'll be happy to suggest something that will delight your palate or expand your horizons or fit a tight time schedule. Also we recommend using Yelp as the reviews will help steer you in the right direction.
