We will need volunteers to help with registration, welcoming guests, hosting guests and setting up snacks for the different dances. If you are interested in helping, please email [email protected] or return to this page in August 2013 for more details.
DOOR PEOPLE
At every event, we need to track the people that enter the event as part of the exchange. I will arrange shifts so that everyone can still enjoy the evening dancing. There are a total of seven events all weekend and if you can help with multiple events that would be great!
AMBASSADORS (2-3)
We have a few out of town guests: DJ Guelas and Oscar BA. I’d like to make sure they have transportation to and from the different venues and to wherever they are staying. As ambassadors you will also help them get around if they need any supplies, food and sight-seeing.
PRE-EVENT PREPARATIONS
This will involve 10-12 hours distributed a few weeks before the weekend. We’ll be making sure the schedules are finalized, transportation logistics for out of town guest DJs are set and supplies/snacks for the different venues are bought and ready to go.
DRIVERS AND ONSITE SETUP
It would be great to have different people available to leave one venue earlier to get the next venue ready.
